Our Story
After teaching business and marketing for 20 and 30 years, Bill and Michele Hollister decided to put all of their knowledge and experience to work. With their love of wine and their desire for business, it seemed like the perfect match.

Growing up in an Italian family meant wine was a staple at every meal or event. As a matter of fact, Michele’s grandfather had a passion for wine as well, as he had a few rows of grapes that he grew and produced into wine.

Flash forward 20 years, Bill and Michele’s passion for wine began soon after their children (Courtney and Paige) left for college in 2005 and 2007. The first sips they fell in love with was in Frankenmuth. After that trip, every camping trip or vacation included finding a winery and trying new wines to enjoy.
They traveled to well-known areas such as Sonoma, Napa, the Finger Lakes, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Geneva-on-the-Lake, Northeast Pennsylvania, and most recently, wine regions in France, Germany, and Italy.
Not only did they visit wineries, they began to dabble in making their own wines, beginning in 2013. One evening in 2022, when dining and enjoying a bottle of wine at Chateau Tebeau Winery, Bill was inquiring about some wine supplies for a recent batch.

When the owner found out that Bill was making wine, she suggested they buy the winery. Bill and Michele just kind of laughed at the time. However, after the possibility was mentioned, they found it difficult to stop thinking about the idea.

The winery had the full package, a well-established vineyard, a gorgeous outdoor area (including a koi pond), a spacious, but quaint tasting room, and a beautiful home on the premises.

Bill and Michele are looking forward to providing the winery’s loyal customers, the community, and nearby wine enthusiasts with a friendly, relaxing, and enjoyable wine experience.
